THE SQ 380 REUNION IN SINGAPORE |
On the 25th October, 2007 Singapore Airlines flew the historic first commercial flight of the Airbus A380. To celebrate the 1st anniversary of that flight, "FirstToFly" re-united in Singapore on the weekend of the 25th & 26th October, 2008. |
After a "high tea" at the iconic Raffles Hotel in Singapore a small delegation boarded Singapore Airlines flight SQ221 to Sydney to re-live the experience of flight SQ380 12 months previously. |
THE SQ 380 REUNION IN SYDNEY |
Having deplaned in Sydney our SQ380 anniversary "pilgrims" were subjected to yet more celebrations at a private function in Surry Hills later that night. And we had the Sydney Liver Transplant Unit on stand-by just in case! Qantas A380 commemorative "Goodie Bags" were distributed to the gleeful guests, all of whom had a marvellous time.
